COSTUME-CON is an annual conference about costumes. The convention has its roots in science fiction and fantasy conventions and historic re-enactment type events.
All forms of costuming are welcome, including anime, fursuit, etc. Costume-Con is a "travelling" national-level convention, and is in a different city and run by a different committee each year.
Costume-Con 29 will be held April 29 - May 2, 2011, at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/Meadowlands and Executive Meeting Center in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Just a short ways away from New York City, and the origin of our theme:
Give My Regards to Broadway
Costume-Con 29 will be hosted by the Sick Pups, the NJ/NY Chapter of the International Costumers' Guild (ICG).

May 16, 2011: The curtain has been lowered on the production of Costume-Con 29. Thanks for a great show and we'll see you next year at Costume-Con 30 in Tempe, Arizona!

April 27, 2011: Due to a minor technical difficulty we need all masquerade entrants to PLEASE bring your sound for masquerade entries to come on CD or USB stick. Unfortunately our sound engineer has been admitted to the hospital. Not to worry we've got a backup plan and there will be sound. We will have a laptop available and the ability to burn CD's if necessary.

April 21, 2011: Program Schedule has been posted for download. Also don't forget to that you can pre-register for the Fantasy and Science Fiction Masquerade!
